Most of the PCB manufacturer will require you to send the printed circuit board file in zip format for faster processing. The PCB manufacturer will not be reviewing your design so it is necessary that you review your design properly before sending it to the PCB manufacturer. You should know that no changes can be made to the design once you send it to the PCB manufacturer. Use a Gerber file viewer to preview your layer file and ensure that your design adhere to the standard guidelines requirements. Your Gerber files for printed circuit board should have embedded apertures or there can be separate apertures list. In your design make sure that the spaces are minimum 6 mil. It is also necessary that all the outer layers whether top or bottoms are positive layers and there is no need for manual merging.

All the holes should have proper pads and the view of the layers should be from top to bottom. These points are to be taken care of before you send the Gerber layer file to the PCB manufacturer for manufacturing your PCB. Mark the power layer and the ground layer properly and clearly and also indicate the polarity properly. This is very important for your design and the PCB manufacturer.
